OPQ愛 field notes
For NGOs, foundations and community groups

Section 01
Field notes

Make your causeimpossible to ignore

Websites, donation pages, impact reports and campaign videos for NGOs. For the ones with no website yet, and the ones with a website that lets them down.

02Which one sounds like you?

Two kinds of NGO, one fix

Whether you have never had a website or you have one you would rather nobody saw, the way forward is the same: a site that shows your work as it really is.

No website yet

Your Facebook page is doing a website’s job

Donors, partners and volunteers ask for a link. We give you a real one, live in about five days: who you are, what you do, the proof, and a way to give.

  • Your programmes and impact on one fast site
  • A donate button that actually works
  • Your own .org or .org.ng address
Start from zero
A website that lets us down

Your website still lives in 2019

Old news on the front page, a donate button that goes nowhere, built by a volunteer who moved on, and nobody has the password. We rescue it.

  • A fresh design, with nothing important lost
  • Working donations and your latest work up front
  • Every login handed back to you
Rescue our website

03Sounds familiar?

If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone

  1. 01

A donor asked for your website, so you sent your Instagram.

A real website, live in about five days

  2. 02

Your latest news is from 2019. Your work did not stop in 2019.

A site your team can update from a phone

  3. 03

Your donate button opens a bank account number.

A proper donation page, card or transfer

  4. 04

The volunteer who built your site moved abroad, with the password.

Every login handed back to you

  5. 05

Your best photos are buried in a WhatsApp group.

    Photo stories donors actually see

  6. 06

Your annual report is a 40 page PDF nobody opens.

A report people read, in print and on a phone

04Before they read your proposal

What donors check before they read a word

Funders look you up first. Every one of these is built into your site from day one.

What a donor checksWhat we build for it
01

Who you are, where you work and since when

An impact page with your numbers and stories, photos shared with consent

03

The people behind it

Team and board pages with real faces and real names

04

Reports and accounts they can download

A reports page where every annual report and account is easy to find

05

A clear way to give, volunteer or partner

Giving, volunteer and partner pages that each take one tap

06

Signs of life: news from this month, not 2019

A news section your team can update from a phone

05What we make for NGOs

06How we work with NGOs

Built with care, the way your work is

01Dignity first

Stories and photos used with consent. Children’s faces protected. People shown with respect, never as objects of pity.

02Funder ready

Logos, credits and acknowledgements placed exactly the way your funders’ guidelines ask.

03Paperwork in order

A written quote before we start and a proper invoice for your records and your auditors.

04Light on data

Pages that load fast on cheap phones and slow networks, for the communities you serve.

05Yours to keep

Your domain, logins and files are in your name. Nobody leaves with the password again.

06Fits your funding

Start with one piece now and add more when the next grant lands.

08Questions

Good questions, plain answers

01

Do you work with small NGOs?

Yes. From community groups run by volunteers to established foundations. We start with what you need most and grow from there.

02

We have no budget line for a website. Can we start small?

Yes. Your first piece is free, a launch page gets you online in about five days, and you can add giving, reports and more pages when funding allows.

03

Can supporters abroad donate?

Yes. We connect trusted payment providers that accept local and international cards, once or every month. The money goes straight to your account, never through us.

04

Can you take over a website someone else built?

Yes. WordPress, Wix or custom code. We back everything up first, then fix, refresh or rebuild it, and put every login in your name.

05

Will you follow our funder’s branding rules?

Yes. Send the guidelines and we place logos, credits and acknowledgements exactly as they ask.

06

How do you handle photos of the people we serve?

With care. We only use images you have consent for, protect children’s identities and tell every story with dignity.

07

Do you need our registration documents?

Only where a domain registry or payment provider asks for them, for example for a .org.ng address or a donation account. We guide you through it.

08

Can you send a formal quote and invoice?

Yes. You get a written quote before any paid work begins and a proper invoice for your records.
